Flocculants for sugar juice and water clarification

Introduction

INDFLOC 27 is a high efficiency polyelectrolyte designed for improving clarification and filtration in sugar mills, sugar refineries and distilleries.

INDFLOC 27 is effective over a wide range of pH and has great flexibility in coping with fluctuation in operating conditions. With its remarkable settling properties, INDFLOC 27 rapidly bring down suspended solid level under control when "difficult" juices are treated.

INDFLOC 27 is manufactured by our subsidiary company Polyelectrolyte India Ltd. In collaboration with SNF Floerger, France in an ISO 9001 certified unit at Patancheru.

Tests for toxicological tolerance show that INDFLOC 27 does not have any pronounced physiological action at recommended dosage levels.

Direction for Use

INDFLOC 27 may be unloaded into the dilution tank from the container using eductor system. Prepare stock solution of (0.2 to 0.5% w/v) of INDFLOC 27 using clear filtered water and further prepare feed solution by diluting stock solution about ten times (directly or on-line dilution). INDFLOC 27 can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment. Recommended dosage is in the range of 0.5 to 3 ppm, depending of juice water quality. Our product engineer will be glad to assist you in recommending the exact dosage and dosing point.

INDFLOC 27 is available in 25 kg LDPE bags.

Do not store the material in open. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. INDFLOC 27 is not non-toxic, no special care is required in its handling.
