INDION 2586

APPLICATION

INDION 2586 is a combination of modern water treatment chemicals specially designed to prevent scale and corrosion on water surfaces of medium and low pressure boilers using unsoftened feed water. INDION 2586 is a blend of chemical softening agenst, sludge conditioners and oxygen scavengers which protect the feed lines and the boiler from scale and corrosion.

DOSAGE

Treatment dosage will vary with feed water quality and boiler water concentration limits. Generally, dosage should be adjusted to provide the recomended residual level of the product in the boiler water. Your IEI Product Engineer will recommend the best treatment programme suited for your system.

           Any convinient feed equipment can be used. Continuous feed in proportion to the feed water flow is preferred.

HANDLING

        Keep the container closed when not in use. The product should not be swallowed and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Should it come in contact with the eyes, flush with clean cold water and get prompt medical attention.
