Application and Features

INDION 5489 is an advanced water treatment for the control of corrosion scaling and fouling in open re-circulating system. 

Indion 5489 is a unique formulation designed to provide effective corrosion inhibition for water containing low and medium level of calcium hardness. Addition cathodic inhibitors incorporated in the product ensure that the corrosion inhibition is not adversely affected by increased temperature. INDION 5489 works between pH 7.0 - 7.8

Directions for use:

Dosage: The normal dosage of Indion 5489 will be 50 - 70 ppm. However, the exact dogase will depend on the system and severity of the problem. Your IESCL product engineer will recommend you the optimum dogage.      For pre-treatment of the system, the dosage will be of 2 to 3 times the normal dosage.          

Limitations and Handling:

Keep the container closed when not in use. The product should not be swllowed and prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Should it come in contact with the eyes, flush with clean cold water and get prompt medical attention.

Storage:

Keep container tightly closed and in a cool place.
